Apple although they may not predominantly advertise the iPhone as a gaming device this is exactly what it is becoming. As Apple Release ‘Unleash’ An Advert Touting A11 Bionic Chip, we show you why gaming on the iPhone is growing in popularity.
Since the release of the iPhone X, the blur between Console and Smartphone gaming is becoming a distant past. As with Console gaming, add-on and updates have become common and the iPhone version of one of my favourite racing game Grid doesn’t stop there. Now Apple Release ‘Unleash’ An Advert Touting A11 Bionic Chip it showcases how far ahead Apple is with Smartphone gaming.
Downloads and updates
Apple used to have strict app sizes, but in recent times they have become a little more relaxed to make way for much bigger games that take on their Console counterpart. As far as I am aware the max filesize available on IOS is now 4GB. Apple due has now also increased the download size over Cellular to 150MB, this is still too much of a limitation but I do not expect this to be changed anytime soon.
Downloading games is one thing, with limitations of space availability we have to be more careful with the size of our chosen downloads. In the case of Grid Autosport on the initial load you will be asked:
On completion, you will be ready to start the game
Once you are ready to start the game you will be blown away by the graphics capabilities on modern phones, well justified with Apple’s new advert
